Emma, together with friend, club mate and fellow coach Michele Reeves won a gold medal in the Veterans Home Nations event held in Dublin last weekend. Emma and Michele took gold in the Over 50s team event following a tough competition against Scotland, Ireland, Guernsey and an England 'B' team.
This is an annual event in which each nation takes turns hosting the event. The event took place at the Sport Ireland Campus in Dublin, a wonderful facility which included an aquatics centre, indoor running track and an indoor rugby training facility used by the Ireland national team.
