Emma and team mate Michele Reeves, were privileged to be invited to give an exhibition match at the opening of a new table tennis club in Malmesbury. Emma and Michele talked through aspects of the game including how they practice and warm up for matches. They explained various tactics and strategies of the game and then played an exhibition match against each other. Afterwards they invited members of the audience to play a few points against them and ask questions.
Founder of the club, Marie-Claire Davies organised the event and had clearly spent a huge amount of time and effort into the successful afternoon.
Emma and Michele hope to go back in the future and offer some coaching to their members.
